My name is Pia, and here you can find out a little bit about me. I'll keep it short and sweet, so you get an idea. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
I trained as a death doula after experiencing a crisis in my own life. A crisis is always a good opportunity to take a breath and reflect on things, and I came to the conclusion that I wanted to work without rushing, and to be present and helpful.
Although I have worked for many years to accept life as it is, I am always looking for solutions to problems. When it comes to death, there is no problem to solve, only the acceptance of the inevitable.
I don't think I could face death as a doula if I weren't connected to the joy and richness of life. That's why I consider myself an end-of-life doula, because the end of life is NOW, and now, and now...
I have done many different things in my life, different jobs, in different countries. I was born in Finland, grew up in Berlin, lived in Crete, Paris, London, and Helsinki before moving to Joensuu in 2021. My favorite hobbies include writing, photography, knitting, drawing, and singing. I have been married for 14 years and have two cats.
